Great Calculator!

Heyy! Random post, but I found a great calculator that tells you how many calories to eat each day if you put in how much weight you want to lose how quickly. This is amazing!!! http://www.healthyweightforum.org/eng/calculators/calories-required/    Check it out!  <3 Sunshinechild69

  1. That thing said I need about 1000cals a day to lose the 20 lbs i want to lose by christmas. Is that really right? It just seems like a lot of cals. Can I trust it?

  2. it said i have to eat 900 to lose 2 stone by christmas, good to know but won't be able to eat that much without it turning into a bing, think i will stick to my safe 5-600

  3. I guess all we can do is give it a go. It says I can lose my 12 lbs in 2 months with 1000 cals/ day... Dropping to a little under 1000 in weeks 7 and 8.

    I can't imagine you could possibly gain weight on 1000 cals a day.. your body burns more than that a day just to keep itself going. And I'm sure a lot of it has to do with the quality of food you eat. 1000 cals of ice cream and cookies is NOT the same as 1000 cals of lean chicken and steamed veggies.


    ..... that would be ALOT of veggies :)

  4. actually 1000 calories of anything is all the same amount of calories, it's just the huge amounts of sugars and saturated fats that will get you lol and I think it would work bc 1000 cals is not that much if you're exercising, and you will definitely have negative calories for the day

  5. it said under 500cals a day to lose 50 lbs by Xmas. Im doing that already so on the right track :) xx
