SGD Day 1 = 400

So my posts are going to have really boring titles for the next few weeks. Let me tell you, I have been stuck in a dietary  rut for quite some time. My weight has been disgusting between 133-136 for a few wee ks and I am sick and tired of it! I've come up with so many excuses so far this year for why I haven't been restricting properly: valentine's day, Bf's birthday, Mardi Gras, Easter, etc. It's like one "free day" of bad eating totally sends me off the deep end. Well , guess what? The next thing coming up is my birthday! Guess what I need to loose all this disgusting weight for? My birthday! The are no special "free days" between now and then. Just 28 days of hard work, restricting, and wonderful bones emerging :) I'm pretty sure I'll loose around 3 pounds per week on the SGD. Potentially, I could lose 12 lbs on the SGD taking me to around 123. The goal for my birthday is 125 lbs. I need to lose about 10 lbs = 2.5 lbs per week. Three weeks of hard work, that's all I need. I want to see what is under all this flab. I'm loving my new haircut, building a new wardrobe, and unveiling a beautiful new me. it's 11:45 and all I've had so far is a cup of coffee. I'm planning on having some oatmeal before class (130) a chicken breast before practice (150) and a huge fruit/water smoothie for dinner (100) From now on, every single bite of food will be tracked on my phone with the calorie count app. I'm going to be on SGD until I reach 125. After that, I'm going to slowly work my way up to 1200 calories per day, and I will gradually continue to lose weight, about 1.5 lbs per week. By the way, this weight loss predictor is great! Check it out here ! So the plan is, get to 125 by my birthday, and then I'll have about a month before the pools open up. So 4 weeks of around 1200 per day = about 6 lbs lost bringing me to 119. I can deal with that for the summer :) The funny thing is, if I could be 120lbs and eat 1500 calories per day, I would do it, I really would. The problem is, I'm not there yet, so I have to restrict until I'm there. I'f only I could get liposuction ... sigh. Anyways, I'm going to go have my oatmeal, because if I don't, I'm going to attack the Easter candy surrounding me. Has anyone had success with the SGD? Let me know :)

  2. Sounds like a fantastic plan! I've never tried SGD but I've heard it works really well! I love the phone app it helps so much and its super easy. I really like putting cinnamon in m oatmeal and then using ice cubes instead of milk to cool it down :)
